New to LS building
I will start off by saying this is all new to me, grew up with Chevy Small blocks and always had good luck. Time to move into the new millennium, so here we go.
I have an L-33 that I want to get a little more out of, came here to see what and where, would be a good place to start.
Any way I'm located in Omaha Ne and I am going to enjoy gaining knowledge from the group.

Welcome to the site. Lots of knowledge in here. L33 is a great engine! It was gm’s HO 5.3 and it did not disappoint. Heads are great. Decent compression, aluminum block that can safely be taken out .030”. You have a great starting point.
What are you wanting to do with it?

Well that's where some wisdom of this group comes in...
It rides in a 1964 Chevy II Nova Station wagon, so with me in it It tips the scales around 3200 lbs.
Auto trans that came with the 05 engine, 3:55 post in the rear end.
It has dyno'd around 300 at the rear wheels.
What I'd like to do with it is get (minimum)at least 100 more HP at the rear wheels.
a supercharger that would sit right on top and keel the stock hood on would be the dream, Something like and Edelbrock E-Force.
But that will run into the 7K$ range... maybe not my first mod.
A cam swap, it acts like a completely different mother when it hits the 3,000 RPM range up to the 6500 red line.
I like that
Maybe a little more low end grunt (torque

Heads and cam will wake it up more than you could believe. Our CNC ported heads and cam package is $1798 and is a great start for you. The goal of 100whp is attainable with a good heads/cam kit and tune. Let us know if we can help you get something together.
Thank you,
Kyle
