Hello

i am kamelred408.
I am a new member to this site.
I have a car that i want to wrench on with my daughters.
i have never swapped an engine before
but i have done various types of car work.
i have air tools , press , many special tools for various makes and models.
The car i would like to do a swap on is.
i would like to get the car to pass state smog and be a street car.

2000 Mustang v6 3.8L 5 speed manual Cali emissions convertible
Got the car with dual exhaust , quick shift and some minor mods
all of them will go with the swap so its no big deal.


i want to make a very detailed d.i.y thread for the car. so others can do it as well.
i can not find any exact builds for my car. if any one can post or pm me links that would be amazing!

i have tons of research i need to complete and i hope this place can help me and my daughters throws a ls in engine in the pony.


I have not picked what ls engine will go in but i had my eye on a

6.0 L76 or LY6
Idk what tranny to get but a manual is a must!


was looking at upr k member kit but idk exactly what to look for in my car is a v6.
