New to LS and the forum
I have been into cars forever as my father owned an auto shop. Was always there watching and learning. Built a few cars in my younger years. Mostly VWs. Most modded was a 90 VW Corrado with a twin turbo VR6 making 600hp. Couldn’t keep the transmission from exploading.
Recent car for the previous 5 years was a 67 Mercury Cougar. Was a good car and had a nice 302. I did some suspension and wheels and the normal cam and exhaust. It ran pretty good but the right offer was made and I decided to move on.
the new car is a 64 Impala SS. Was a 327 250hp car with the power glide. Much different now. See the following list from the original builder.
So far just driven around the block. Need to get the insurance processed.

I am glad to be back in the muscle car world....sold my 67 Cougar 2 weeks ago, which feels like forever. Went to 2 car shows and 2 cruise-ins without a car and it is very difficult.
My brother also has an LS1 which kind of got me interested in them. They are compact and pack a lot of power for their size. Plus they are very cost effective.
I would like to find out where and when all the LS people meet in Phoenix for cruise nights.
