Back For Good... I Hope What's going on fellow LS enthusiasts? Name's Brandon. I'm a long-time GM nutswinger who had a '99 M6 T/A that I hydrolocked the motor on back in 2010 and a '00 C5 FRC that I put into a brick building thanks to some black ice back in 2014.
Planning to scratch the itch this year with another 4th Gen F-Body (ideally another T/A because they look better in my opinion) or 5th-6th Gen SS (manual cars only because I'm basic) and looking forward to having places like TSP shove their hands into my pockets.
Just wanted to introduce myself as it looks like the forum has grown by leaps and bounds since I was last here. Once I grab a ride, I'd be down to find any GM or LS groups in the DFW or Austin areas.
Almost forgot, I know it's probably been covered and I'm going to do some digging with the search tool, but just wondering what the 4th Gen owners who went to a 5th-6th Gen think. Is it worth the extra cash for a modern motor, creature comforts, and IRS? Thanks fellas.

Welcome to LS1Tech! I had a 00’ FRC that I bought new. That was a fun little car. I’m in the market myself for a gen5/6 Camaro for my son, but it will be a 6 cylinder car.
