New to the LS world. Glad to be here, lots of great info. I have just bought my first LS engine, but ive never owned a vehicle that had one in it. I currently drive a 2015 Genesis coupe 3.8. The 6.0 LQ9 i picked up is gonna be in it hopefully in a few months. I like to think of myself as a youtube mechanic, and i learn as i go.
So far i have my motor torn all the way down. Just got it cleaned up and back from the machine shop. I am attempting to essentially rebuild it myself. So far i am only ditching the old pistons. I will post updates if anyone cares to follw or give advice!
