About time I joined LS1 Tech Hey all,
Yup, another noobie to LS1 Tech. LOL However, I'm not new to Camaros. I just purchased my 7th Camaro...a 2000 Z28 with the factory LS1 and the 4L60E auto. I'm looking forward to having it as a project car as I want to do a few things to it. First I would like to try and find a T56 setup out of another 4th Gen to swap into my car for the auto. I'm sure this won't be the cheapest option to do, but hey, that's why it is a project car, right? LOL
I'm also looking forward to pulling out the factory LS1 and building it up. I'm going to be scouring the pages here for tips and tricks on how to build the LS1's. Last time I was building engines was the original 350's, 427's and 454's. So, the LS series is new to me. However, I have a Tahoe with the 5.3L LMG engine and had to rebuild the top end (stupid AFM/DOD!!!!), so I did get some experience regarding the LS engines.
Looking forward to getting some great info from everyone here regarding my 4th Gen.
