I am a former third gen guy finally moving up in the world. My last car was an 86 IROC-Z with a carbed 383. I sold it years ago to pay for college classes and have missed it ever since. I recently bought this 2002 Z28 from another forum member. The car is very clean and straight, and is well sorted with a heads & cam build, stall, full bolt-ons and a 9" rear.
My plans are a driveshaft loop, subframe connectors, injectors, intake and some 15 inch bogart wheels. I live in North Georgia so hopefully my wife and I will be attending LS Expo next month, and I'm trying to get it on track for some test & tune action soon.
Welcome to LS1Tech! I just got my first 3rd gen, from my mom. She bought it new in 92. 305 car with t-tops, auto. Been in her basement since 96’ absolute time capsule, but needs things from sitting too long. Tires, cooling system, Freon, etc.
I’ve tried to buy it from her through the years, and she surprised me a couple months ago by giving it to me. Pretty cool.
