Hi from Cincinnati So my son bought a wrecked 2004 GTO with Automatic with only 65,000 miles on it. Ran & drove
Pulled the LS & wiring harness.
Sold the Automatic
Sold the Shell.
Bought a Tremec 6-speed recently
He also bought a wrecked 2008 350Z with the VQHR engine about 306HP with 6 speed. 57,000 miles. Ran & drove
6-speed from Z going into his 240SX with a 2JZ. Yes he is weird
So what to do with the LS engine & the 350Z.
Build 350Z for Auto-Cross & maybe some track days.
So that where I get to have fun - Hey dad do my wiring. Standalone for LS & trim all the fat from the Z (rear harness is done)
yep would have been way easier to use the Tremec behind the 2JZ in his 240SX - same company made kits for both transmissions.
Then just left the 350Z engine tranny in the car & just AutoX it.
But hey - he loves jumble his stuff
Me I just want a Aluminium 5.3L LS in my 93 Jimmy 2dr 2wd
