Another LS in a Nova I've been lurking for sometime now, finally joined from the midwest. Seeing all the cars at the midwest muscle car challenge this spring is driving me to get the nova going. I just purchased 6.0 alum. block and crank for my 70 Nova. Car will be getting new floors and a 9 inch this fall.
Joined here to learn a little bit more about which cam and heads will work best for my project. Right now leaning toward a 243 head, goal is to end up somewhere north of 400 to the tire. Mainly going to drive the car on the street weekends and maybe a couple times a week when its nice out. Would really like to auto cross it 4-5 times per year.
Forum has already helped greatly as I also purchased a T56 out of a c6. So trying to decide if I want to tackle converting it to an fbody T56 or just sell it and put the money toward a fbody 6 speed.

Welcome to LS1Tech! Post your questions over in our Gen4 Internal section regarding that aluminum 6 liter build.
You can likely buy a fbody t56 cheaper than building that corvette box, unless your a transmission guy and you have access to all the needed conversion parts. Lots of sharp guys over in our Manual Transmission section will lend a hand. Sounds like a fun build sir!
