Hello everyone. I just bought a 97 Chevy 1500 Ext cab with an LT-1 swap already done in it. I was told the motor was from a 98 Firebird. I think they were wrong and it's a 97 possibly from pictures and stuff I've looked at. It has been over 10 years since I have done any major engine work so I'm here to learn all I can about my motor and stuff so I can keep this thing running. The engine is running great after I put a new alternator on it. It looks pretty ugly the way the guy did it so I'm here to learn some tricks to clean everything up and get it looking really good.
