New to site I have been checking out many threads from this site to troubleshoot some issues with a car and for future project recommendations. I recently purchased- 99 Firebird with LS3 swap. Car has some other mods and reached 435rwhp on Dyno. I have been reading up on thoughts and recommendations for beefing up the rear end. Would love to launch the car but worried about twisting up the rear.
I have recently started experiencing a hesitation shifting from 3rd to 4th (auto) and a small puff of what appears to be white smoke out the pipes. Once this happens all is good again. I can come to complete stop and cycle through all the gears no issues. This only seems to happen after sitting while I’m at work. If anyone has some thoughts or experience with this I’d appreciate some feedback.

Sounds like two separate issues, but if it were mine, I’d start with the shifting issue. Post over in the Automatic Transmission section of the forum, and you’ll get plenty of help there. Not a lot of traffic here. Once the transmission issue is fixed, see if it’s still puffing during shifts, and if so, post the issue over in Gen4 Internal section since it’s an LS3. Lots of wisdom here on Tech and I’m sure we can get you fixed up.
