Keith Turk... Idiot at large Hey guys and gals... I'm Keith Turk, kind of a car junkie, like junk and to go fairly fast on a sunny day.
I've joined here because I'm utterly clueless. I've got a couple of quesitons and I'm learning about LS motors in general.
I've got three current projects and I focus on them one at a time.
First I've got this POS Camaro I've been racing for over 20yrs... I'm not responsible for the motor ( you can see the car in the current issue of Hot Rod Magazine on pg 84 and 85)..
The second car is an LS engine change, it's the one on my lift right now...
Lastly I'm going to built an LS drivetrain to slip into a Nomad body I just acquired...
Bare with me I'm not coming here late to the dance because I've always loved these motors... I've just recently acquired a taste for reliablity
anyway...thanks for having my dumb ***...

No, actually it's one they kept... it was Brutal a few weeks ago with the lay off's. like you said... 19 magazines in one fell swoop!
Print media has been a die'ing breed for the last 20 yrs. I'm 62yrs old and Hot Rod and Car Craft along with Street Rodder and the rest were where guys like me learned about new stuff... Now I ask Seri and I can focus on the exact knowledge I want to gain this instant... but I worry about how fragile our information is on the internet. If you want to build a 70's era machine... you can't go grab a stack of 70's magazines and get a feel for the style... who knows..
I only work for Hot Rod one week a year... I'm the Race Director for an event called Dragweek... Great time.
