Poorvette Howdy, northern ontario canada here. Im slowly building my 76 corvette and am looking at buying an escalade motor to swap in. Just beginning doing the research I figured this would be a good place to start my learning. Any advice warnings or questions are welcomed thanks for your time
Welcome to LS1Tech! Advice...let’s see. You’ll have to use a car intake (LS1, LS6, Fast, MSD, etc) to fit under the hood, if your going fuel injected, which I recommend. An aluminum engine would remove 100 pounds off the nose, vs. an iron block engine. The car would love it. Whatever you budget, go ahead and double it. Just the way it is. Check out our Conversions And Hybrids section of the forum for LS swapped cars. I’m sure you’ll find plenty of poorvetts over there.
