New from Madison, WI Hey everyone,
My name is Joe from Madison, WI. I am a fan of LS engines, I previously had a 2001 Chevy Camaro SS with a 6 speed and tee tops. I miss my car. I come from a family where myself, my mother and grandfather all had Camaro's at the same time, theirs being 1998 and 2001 convertible Z28's. I am previously from Spring Hill, FL where I grew up and have family. I am working to get back into a vehicle with an LS whether it be another Camaro, Trans Am, or Corvette sometime in the future. I am a current business owner (Pleasure Rated and Mitmouse Boutique) and maintain a full time day job as a Revit/ BIM Consultant. I have 2 kids and a wife and both of my kids remember and loved my Camaro. I will be on the lookout for one in the next 3 or so years for my daughter for my daughter who will be driving age if my mom doesn't allow me to buy her 2001 Z28 Convertible.
Thank you and feel free to ask me any questions. And if anyone in here has a Chevy Captiva Sport that has had a timing chain go and has swapped from the 2.4L to an LS motor, please let me know. I am interested in cost and how hard it was to do because $6,000 to drop a new (shitty and under-powered ) engine in this thing is ridiculous.
