Default New to the LS world

Hello, my name is Scott. I have a 98 S10, and I'm in the process of adding a 5.3 from an 03 Tahoe. I have a 4L60E from an 01 Silverado, 2WD. Engine and trans are in, radiator and fans (intrepid) are in, all fluid plumbing is in, and I'm working on sorting out the wire harness. Harness is from a 4WD. I have a cable controlled throttle body. The 5.3 came with the computer and harness. The 5.3 originally had the electronic throttle body. This wiring is a major pain. Wondering if there is a place to get info on what connectors aren't needed, and how to eliminate some of them. I also got rid of the ABS box, and ran a regular proportioning valve, along with eliminating the air bag stuff. I do have an 03 Silverado and have been looking at the connectors, etc. They are really different from the original S10. I did keep the S10 harness and computer for awhile, but recently cut out all the connectors and saved them. The rest of the harness and computer have been tossed. I do remember seeing a website about a year ago that had tons of info about doing this, but cannot remember where it was. Any help would be appreciated.
