Back after a long time away
But have had my 1969 Nova since then, so life's good

Today I brought home a 2000 WS6, 6 speed to go along with the Nova! Price was too good to pass up. And I've always wanted another one since 2004. Kids are out of the house, and the house was paid off two months ago - yeah!
Very well taken care of. 91K miles, but looks and drives like 51k miles. With the exception of the exhaust, completely stock.
See you all soon!

We have some things in common....I also sold my 2000 WS6 in 2004, and I currently have a '71 Nova that I bought shortly after. But, I've also owned a couple of LS1 Z28s since '04 and still have a '98 Camaro today. I just couldn't stay away, and had to get back into a Camaro since that was my first brand new car. Do you happen to also be a member at Stevesnovasite.com? I used to frequent that site as well, but just haven't had time in the last few years.
Oh, and congrats on getting the house paid off! I'm also a member of the paid-in-full house club. It's a great feeling!

Yep, I'm over at Steve's too. Don't have a lot of time to post, but do get back regularly to browse. Seems like our car interests are much the same!
I bought my Nova about 10 years ago from a very good friend of mine. He bought the car in 1977, while in high school. Surprisingly, it's a Merlin III, 555" big block. All the good parts, and makes about 800 HP on e-85. Not too practical for regular driving, but really fun lol. Figured it was time to get back to a car that could turn corners. Luckily - I still have the Nova too!!!!
See you soon!

I love the subtle touch of the "555" in the stock location by the sidemarker light. Very slick. I can see the attention to detail in all aspects of the car, it's an exceptional example.Wish my Nova had power like that, it's just a 355 that was built in the mid-'90s when the first round of restoration was done. A decent street build for it's time, but by today's power standards it could certainly use an upgrade. The paint has held up well after ~25 years and I've done a bunch of other restoration/refresh work over the last ~12 years. It's nice, but not as nice as yours:
My car is an original Rallye Green car, with custom trim and vinyl top. Lots of cutting and fitting to get the numbers to fit in the marker lights haha. Pretty unique though.
Sure is quite the difference between driving a WS6 and a Nova with manual disk brakes and manual steering

Talk to you soon!
Brad
It's always great to come across another 4th gen F-body/3rd gen X-body combo owner. You've got a couple of very nice cars!
I just bought my 02 SS back as well after 12 years of not owning it!
Kinda fun to come back full circle and to start the modding from the beginning!
No Xbody for me
lol
