Gotcha. My nephew does the same. Spends his days in a bucket all over the southeast. His dad (my brother) and Myself own an electrical contracting company, and our dad wired fighter jets for the Air Force. Go with what you know, I suppose. Stay safe up there!

That's where I got started, doing commercial electrical work. My dad was a lineman, he bought the business from the gentleman he was working for, called me up and asked did I want to partner up. So I took the chance , got my Masters , ( I was a Journeyman at the time) and the rest is history. He has since retired and we sold the company. I partnered up with a large contractor. Things are much better now, well except for the stress lol. I definitely like Electric Utility work over commercial electric, especially storm work. Props to your Dad, wiring fighter jets sounds awesome lol.
