Hello Everyone

Hello everyone, very excited to have a reason to join this forum. Greetings from southern California.

This past monday I picked up my 01 Trans Am WS6 manual. I had been searching for a C5 corvette for a couple of weeks but I have been having trouble pinning down the sellers of any vehicle I was interested in. I was also cross shopping G8s and CTSVs.

Then out of nowhere this trans am popped up. It was within my budget and looked very nice compared to the condition of C5s I would get with the same money.

I have had a trans am before, about 17 years ago when I was 20 I decided to finance a 99 trans am convertible automatic. The car was a lot of fun and quite honestly a bit too much for me to handle at the time, and was eventually repossessed. I spent more for insurance than my car payment!

So when the opportunity to get into another one came up, it just felt right.

Not the color I was looking for, but the condition of the car seemed so nice that I felt great about the purchase and not like I had made a huge compromise. Also now having two young children, the rear seats are a plus to be able to enjoy this car as a family.
