Hey everyone. Hey everyone. So I am new here.
I own a 1998 mustang with a 3.8L and a T-5 Manual transmission.
However, I want to engine swap it. I know exactly what engine I want. I want to put an LS 6.0 engine in it with a 4L80E Trans. Im not going forced induction quite yet. But I want to know what all I need for this swap. And possibly best places to get it.
My plan is LS 6.0, efi, all forged internals, bigger heads, maybe bored and stroked (not sure yet), bigger cam, bigger injectors. Basically I want to be pushing about 600 hp with just the motor.
I know i will need a lot of parts, and wiring harness. Just trying to find out everything I will need before I start this project.
The finished car, will have a full exhaust with an electric exhaust cutout with long tube headers.

Welcome to LS1Tech! Check out our Conversions And Hybrids section of the forum. Do a search for mustangs and read up. Lots of info over there and folks to help out when you have questions.
