Noobie here
Yo,
I'm a mechanical engineering student down in Texas and I've had my 99 base firebird for a little over a year now and I think its time I actually joined the forum because I'm at my wits end trying to figure this car out on my own.

Welcome! My daily driver is a 1998 v6 Firebird. What issues are you having?

Hey man,
I've fixed the major stuff like faulty ignition coil control module and the driveshaft. The rest that the car needs is just little things. The headlight motors need new gears, the evap can won't let me pump gas, the fuel gauge is a little off, there is a slight header leak, and the serpentine belt is squeaking probably due to the alternator being slightly misaligned. The car itself runs perfectly fine but I just wanna try to work on those issues. Thanks for the welcome btw!

My gas gauge needle also floats a little, so that may be a common issue. I would suggest getting brass headlight gears so they last longer. Good luck!
