Intro - 81 Formula LS swap
The car sold new in Sunnyvale California. It was purchased from the original owner and restored about 20 years ago from the owner prior to me. I've got every bit of paperwork ion it from day one.
The prior owner deviated cosmetically slightly from original in his restoration, but the mechanical restoration was faithful, including all original emissions equipment.
It's pretty cool, but it's also dangerously slow. I bought the car a couple years ago fully intending to do an LS swap. I've nursed it along for as long as I care to. I've got a junkyard LM4 that I've freshened up with a Summit stage 1 cam, springs, new lifters and gaskets. Planning to run Holley Terminator X fuel injection. My intent is to re-use everything from the bellhousing back. I should double the original 145 hp and then some, but hopefully not split the light duty wide ratio T-10 in half along the way.
