Hello I just joined and I have problem that I hope that someone can help me with,
I recently had the 5.7 in my 1998 Silverado replaced with another 5.7 I don’t know what model this engine came out of, but I went to replace the starter about 6 months after the swap I found that the engine side bolt for the starter had broken off in the block, so I take the starter in for replacement and got the same starter, but when I bolted it back up it doesn’t engage the flywheel, how do I figure out what the right starter for this 5.7 I know that it is newer than the 1998 that came out of it. Thank You
