Thanks for allowing me to join this community. My name is Vince and I am a retired GM World Class Technician. I have been retired from GM for almost 5 years now. I work for myself and I love it alot more now that I do not have to deal with warranty anymore. I love Gen 2 pontiac F body's. Who am I kidding I love all Pontiacs and most camaro's. (no offense). I am glad to be here and if I can be of help just let me know. I am currently starting my project by converting my first truck, which I have had since I graduated high school. It is a 1991 Chevrolet stepside, single cab , 5 speed , 305ci with 552,341 original miles {and will still scat like a banshee}, into a Pontiac Trans Am truck. It is my biggest project to date. It is going to eat up a ton of cash to complete (had to wait till the last kid moved out,lol ) but will be well worth it. The photo below was last years 4th of July project for the local parade, which I started on July 3rd. The car is actually brown (top) and what your seeing is the paint job I did after I masking taped the entire car then just rattle canned the tape and peeled it all off when the day was over. Its really a fun lil toy. It has a 1.6L air cooled vw engine with 2 turbos and now it is a screaming , turbo whistling lil machine that you hear coming before you see it.
It is next to come in to get a full restore with a real paint job and some upgrades.
