New guy from Utah
Currently I'm working on a 09 Tahoe i bought last summer with 175k on the clock.
Shortly after buying the Tahoe, i changed the oddly thick oil it had, and from there things went down hill!
Long story short, it started making it's own anti-seize after some sludge appears to have made it's way into the oil pump bypass.
Going for glass half full approach, i opted to dump the 5.3 block in favor for a 6.0 block.
I noticed the 5.3's low end sorta sucked, and that the 6.0 and 6.2 are supposed to be much better.
Biased my build off of a 09 Trailblazer SS with the 6.0 and the same 799 heads that my 5.3 came with i started spending some money!
Scored a brand new GM factory block from summit with a 100 rebate to kick things off.
To help talk my self into it, the block was only a few hundred more than having my 5.3 machined, new cam bearings, etc.
I just got my rotating assembly back from the machine shop for a fresh balance, and now the fun begins!
I have HP tuners already, and I know my way around it pretty well, but I'm more of a copy paste sorta guy.

Started with an EBL flash with tuner pro in an old 80's vette i have, the most advanced i have gotten is with manual fueling smoothing and some wide band O2 learning with the ebl.
So i have a very expensive pile of parts ready to start going together once engine bearings arrive.
I even sprung for a Circle D converter knowing that the stock 6l80 converter has been known to kaboom and take out the transmission with it.
While I'm in there and all.
Hoping for this to go smoothly!
I'm hoping guys and gals here can help me along my way.
