Old Newb! Thanks for including me on this forum.
I am a 60 year old retired fire fighter, and life long mechanic. Mostly I ride, race, and restore motorcycles. But, I have a project that has been lurking a LONG time!
I have a 1970 C-10 LB that I bought from the original owner 31 years ago. I drove it for 10 years with stock drive train, the pulled the OEM engine and trans out to install a 98 LT1. The project stalled long enough for me to get rid of the old throttle body LT1 and aquire a 2002 Silverado LS. I really want to follow the leads shown here and use as many stock/modified parts as possible. I am very capable of completeing all the work myself, but I am hoping to shorten the research time for appropriate parts/mods by tapping iinto the collective knowledge here.
