I am Chris, originally from Germany but currently living in Dubai, UAE. How I came to LS or GM engines? More or less by accident as I was looking for a BMW V8 for my BMW E36 drift car. As they were not easy to find here in UAE, especially with manual gear, I bought a LS3 engine which turned out to be a L96 Vortec 6000. I kept it (for some unknown reasons I already like it and want definitely see it running ) and now try to figure out all the technical differences and possibilities to get it running with my T56 in my E36.
Try to keep my buil posted on YT (ChrisDriftWorld - YouTube) like many others and of course I am stuck in the gearbox issue.
There is a lot of information I already found, but some major points are not 100% clear to me as an GM newbie. I hope to find them here and of course can share also my experience with you.
