Introduction S10W Good day everyone, I am new the the LS1Tech forums obviously.
I am new to the LS platform and any power adders but I am planning on just going hard retard and doing a low boost turbo build in my 1985 SWB S10.
So far what I have planned is somewhat based off good ol denmah and his sloppy mechanics information he has shared.
6.0 LQ4 Gen 3 SBE (Opened ring gap a bit for extra insurance)
-> Sloppy stg 3 cam, pac springs, and going with either Gm Perf lifters or the LS7 and all new gaskets throughout so I dont have to keep pulling it for oil leaks since I have a tiny garage and tight timelines so I don't block other people out / in.
VS Racing Denmah kit gen 2 turbo (Going for low 5-7 lb boost since it will be my first taste of any decent power and know of the gen 3 bottom end being weaker vs the gen 4) 500-550 whp goal, Plenty enough to scare myself for a year atleast.
Also going to run the terminator kit since I really dont want to deal with a stock harness / ecu.
Built TH400
Built 8.8 3:73 gear
Etc..
Will be making a thread post about the truck and adding to it over the year, Hoping to get it started for the first time next summer!
