new to here hello yall, im an automotive tech by trade and started back in the late 90s doing head and cam packages from patriot on the side while street racing down in south fl. but as usual life and kids and responsiabilites took me away around 2004. sold all my stuff and dedicated myself to my family and being a nissan tech. fastfoward to present day and here i am. i have an 01 z71 with 467 and change thousand miles on the original engine and am in the process of building a 189 thousand mile engine to replace it with. itll be just be above stock but this motor is for pulling my boat not an race motor. the one coming out of the truck is a different story though. anyway hello. i am looking for some suggestions. nice to meet yall

Is the 189,xxx miles engine a 5.3 or 6.0 or some other displacement? What do you have in mind for the cylinder heads 706's, 317's, 243's, 799's etc?
