Hey y'all If ya can't tell I'm a suthurner. Mississippi to be more specific. An hour from everything. Near the city of Hattiesburg. Nah-Orlenz (New Orleans)(Mardi Gras) 1 the hr away. Gulfport, Biloxi (coast)(cruising the coast) 1 hr away. Birmingham 1.5 hrs away. Mobile AL 1hr away. Jackson MS 1 hr away. And the best Talladega 500 (NASCAR) is only an hour drive. Over the almost 40 years I've been working one of my past experiences was an automotive machinist, though I sold my shop back when vortec meant you just had a gen II 350 with vortec heads or a gen I (283-302-305-327-350-383-400 etc) w/ vortec heads and related parts. Built many back in the day. LS (technically RPO is "L-something" ie LS6, L33, L59, LS1) was only a dream back then. As such I don't have nearly as much experience working on them (LS's) as much as many a small block or even a straight 6. So with that, I'll try helping others when I can and asking em when I don't know. LOL
