Default 56 Belair Restomod

Rude Dude Here,

I already posted a question in the LS3 forum.

I bought a 56 Belair 2-door sedan shell and frame a while back. Then I found the perfect LS3 for it off of a 2010 Camaro and bought it. Then I bought a boat. Shouldn't have bought the boat. Back to the car. The body looks great. Floor pans, not so much. I plan to put the LS3 with a Stage 3 cam and Holley Terminator Max X with a 4L80e on it over the next year or so. New interior and paint. I have dreamt of this car for over 10 years.

I live in Tampa and am currently living through hurricane Ian. Power is still on and even if it wasn't, battery headlamps and cordless power tools still work.

I previously stripped down, stretched and rebuilt a 350 for a T-Bucket Touring. So I've got some skills, but know little about the LS3 that I have.

Thanks in advance for letting me suck info off you guys.

Welcome aboard sir. Hope all stays well with that storm rolling in on you. Sounds like a awesome project to me, post a couple pics when you can, have always been a fan of those cars. My uncle before he passed had a pile of 5 wrecked ones in the back field that he drag raced for decades.

I've found most of the trim except the back fender flares. Will have to buy those reproduced.

The boat might currently be the best investment.
