Hi all, and thanks for letting me in to your community. If you've not worked it out from my user name my name is Andrew, but I usually go by Andy.
I'm from the UK and living in the West Midlands area, and have recently become the owner of a 2002 Firebird WS6
This is not the first American I have owned previously a '99 Camaro Z28, and a 1975 Ford Elite, but the WS6 pulled me back into LS1 ownership.
The car has a couple of issues, namely it is now refusing to start, so going to do some reading first and then I dare say the questions will follow if I cant find the answers.
That's a sharp looking silver WS6. Automatic or manual transmission?
I hope the no start issue is easy and quick to resolve. Please keep us up to date.

It's an automatic with 43k on the clock.
Have replaced battery, so I know thats good and in the process of ordering up some replacement relays for ignition and starter and going to start working through the system methodically, up to the starter. I'm just hoping its not VATS related.
Welcome! I was curious if your car has a clean title. I've been reading a lot on the Dodge forums how many American muscle cars sold overseas these days have a salvage title. I always think of the flood vehicles sent and it's very unfortunate to prey on foreign buyers. I hope your car will give you a pleasant ownership experience once you get the kinks out..
Smart move, doing the relays. Years ago my Formula wouldn't start after stopping for gas, and it turned out to be one of the relays. I actually didn't have far to go, so I swapped my fan relay with the dead starter relay and it started right back up.

I'm fortunate in that this one was imported to the UK form new, so have lived here all of its life, so I can trace back the ownership to the first owner after the import company. From the little I have been able to drive it i think it will be around for a few years once up and running again.

Sounds like I'm on the right track hopefully, if not I'll have to find an auto electrician to come take a look.
