I’ve been a lurker here for a few weeks now and thought I finally join and introduce myself. I’ve always been a Pontiac guy since my father bought his new 69 gto in 68. I’ve always loved the Firebird Tran Am’s too and just picked up my first one ever. It’s a bone stock ls1, 6 speed with 3.42 gears.
So here’s my 99 30th anniversary and my 68 goat. I don’t know if the 99 is faster as I haven’t been able to open her up yet due to bad weather. But the goat with a stock 400/16 heads/th400/posi-3.36 gear screws big time. If the 99 is anywhere near as fast I’ll be happy.
