Newbie from VA I'm a newbie to the site. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in VA. I'm into 67-72 C10 pickups and have a 62 Impala SS.
I'm about to build my second 6.0. I rebuilt one in 2020 for my 03 Silverado 2500 HD. Just went through it with new bearing, head job and a Lunati stage 1 truck cam.
I want to go a little farther with the 6.0 I'm getting ready to build for my 67. The options I have are factory dished pistons and I have a set of factory flat tops with rods and valve reliefs. I also have the 317 heads and a set of 799 heads. I also picked up a TBSS intake. So that's where I'm at now. Have alot of info to dig through to see what combination I want to go with.
The truck is a 67 C10, SWB with 4:11 posi and a M21 Muncie 4 speed. I want to keep it NA and streetable with a lopey idle cam and buget friendly of $2-3000, not including machine shop. So any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
