I'm new.... So......
Hello everyone.
I have used this forum a lot in the past to gather great information about different issues I have had with my car and today I thought I would finally join.
Me- I live in the KC metro area. I'm a maintenance garage manager. I have built custom motorcycles for years but after burying someone very close to me I closed my shop, sold all of my equipment and traded my last bike to my best friend for his Camaro.
MY car - I have a 2001 Camaro that has all of the original SLP options I also have all the original SLP paperwork, window stickers, Chevy and SLPs owners manuals etc. I have been repairing small issues on the car in my spare time so its in extremely good shape.
Work I have done one the car-
-Repaired the exhaust
-Replaced the clutch and throw out bearings
-replaced the rear main seal
-New calipers and rotors
-Rebuilt the real a axel
-Refinished the leather bolsters on the driver's seat
-Recovered the dash with one of those dash skins
-Plastic welded some of the interior components that were broken mostly from screws being over tightened
- Installed the autotrix window fix
That's about all... Or at least that I can remember off of the top of my head.
Thanks
