I Have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD w/ 6.0L and I'm getting a P0300 random misfire code. I've done everything I can think of including praying over it.
the Live data on my scan tool hits on cylinders 234&8, compression test on cylinders 2468357 all 190-psi cylinder 1 at 120-psi.
fuel pressure at rail is 45-psi at idle and 42-psi at 2000 rpm. I found 3 faulty injectors and replaced them. I also replaced the plugs w/ AC Delco 41*162 w/ a heat range of 14. (Cold plug)
I checked the fuel injectors with a Noid light, and all are working. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, (No Change) new plug wires, new coils, I checked the cam position sensor to ensure it was working.
I also have a cold air intake on this truck. I even ran an extra ground wire from my exhaust manifold to the frame. (No Change)
I also replaced the fuel filter.
Please Help, I'm old and cannot afford a new truck.
