Joined a year ago shortly after getting my 98 Arctic White T/A. Was going to jump in here but life things came up almost as soon as I started thinking about the car. I'm finally getting after it and getting some things done with her (though I'm really hating spark plugs right now!). I spent over 35 years total both in the Air Force or working for them as a civilian. Spent many, many years wrenching on fighter jets and playing with bombs, missiles, guns, bullets and other stuff that goes boom. I thought it was finally time to get the car I said I was going to buy when I returned from a stint in Korea, but never did. I also thought, "gee, I worked on jets all these years, surely cars won't be a big jump". I was very wrong. I have much respect for everyday mechanics. I am learning, though, slowly.
I've managed to replace the suspension with the Strano Koni STR.T and (white) lowering spring setup, new rotors and brakes all around, rear LCAs, panhard bar, ESR CS8 wheels in Matte Bronze with 265/35-18 ECSTA PS31 rubber and, maybe if I can squeeze an arm down there, new plugs. I actually have 6 replaced, guess which two are not. I have a Borla catback setup sitting around, too, but I hate to put it on without being able to even start the dang car to hear them. Anyway, I'm in the Middle Georgia area if anyone else is nearby. Got plenty of time on my hands since I retired. Here's a lousy picture of her.
