My name is Dale Van Blokland and I was on here years ago when I had a company building Lamborghini Replicas. Site is still up https:not-a-sponsor.com. I am 77 years old and retired but wanted to build one more Lamborghini for myself. I chose the Avendador and have been working on it as time allows. I recently purchased a 2001 Corvette 5.7L LS1 for the power train. I have flipped the throttle body 180 degrees as there is not enough clearance in the original position for a mid-engine car. In my original Diablo build, I used a crate engine from Scoggin's Dicky. The current Corvette engine will require me to relocate PS pump and Alternator to the bottom like on my original build to give me clearance in the engine bay. May need some advice on brackets as I believe my original LS1 used Camero brackets but not sure if they are compatible with Vette LS1. Will pull existing parts of vette engine as soon as I get the PS pully removal tool. All of my progress from chassis and suspension build to body arrival is documented on my YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/@lambobuider.
