Hi all, excited to swap my LQ9 6.0 into my 69 Chevelle SS. Been a mechanic for 27 years with 10 of it in GMC, I was working on the 99 LS's when they 1st came out and remembering not liking them because used to and loved the 350 and 454's. After getting to know them-loved them. What a great design. Anyway, my 396 needs serious machine work and found the LQ9 so here we are. Got a reman 4L80E, and 12 bolt 3:31 rear end. Doing a refresh on motor and putting in Cam Motions custom grind 220/226 113 cam with some upgrades. Will be NA. Doing all the work myself, about 1/4 done with frame up restoration. Can't wait to drive my dream car, been sitting for 31 years. Last inspection was 1993.
Rock on,
Ledzep
