hello LS1Tech members! i just bought an 02 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 2 months ago. It's been somewhat of a headache/project car but i've always wanted one since High School. I remember seeing these all over the place back in 2002 but nowadays they are very rare. This car is originally from Ohio and has a lot of surface rust underneath it. I'm getting that removed and an undercoating put on. Has 50K original miles and was somewhat taken care of. Had the famous power steering cooler leak so the radiator was full of black gel-like material. Check engine light was on because of no cats and SLP long tube headers. Got the cats put in and PCM tuned so it runs way better now. New 2 row radiator, water pump, heater and coolant hoses replaced. Deleted the factory power steering cooler. Turn signals weren't working because the bulb connectors were burned out. Got new ones from mouser electronics and put LED bulbs for less heat. Removed the Magnaflow bullet muffler and Installed the GMMG/Madhammer exhaust. Came with the OG Ruff Racing 280 wheels with 3" deep dish although someone mounted them incorrectly. The passenger side of the car had one of the deep dish wheels mounted in the front lol. Had to fix that. Work in progress but it is now part of my small collection of cars.
