Coming from Cali!
I am new to the LS scene and needed help with my build. I have a LQ4 block and wanted to get it machined to 4.030 and was looking at LS2/LS3 heads. As of parts I have an aftermarket crankshaft, summit racing camshaft, and low profile oil pan. I have a list of other parts and will put the part numbers at the bottom of my thread. For this build I am going for an all naturally aspirated engine that is going into my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500. It currently has the 4.3L engine and the NV3500 transmission. I don't know of too many transmissions that can hold up to 500+ hp but the one I know of is the T56 6 speed. Is there any other recommendations on manual transmissions?
