Hi all, new guy here from middle Tennessee. I’ve been in the performance car world pretty much all of my adult life owning many Mustangs before buying a 2008 C6 Vette. As you all can imagine, I fell in love with LS power. Having 2 teenage daughters who always want to go everywhere with me, except work of course, my C6 just sat in the garage so it was time to go back to a Mustang.
The latest project and I think it will be my last because I’m getting up there in age is a 1994 Mustang GT. I have a nice amount of money to set back each week for mods so I have big dreams in my head. I’m starting with the interior, then moving to the exterior cosmetics, then brakes, suspension, wheels and tires and finally the power. I want to stick with a manual transmission for the fun factor and a naturally aspirated motor. I used a BTR stage 2 cam in the Vette and it was plenty of fun so I am honestly just looking to recreate that amount of power with something super reliable. I just don’t think it can be done with a Ford pushrod engine. After a supercharged stroked 97 Cobra and a 03 Terminator Cobra I am absolutely done with modular ford engines, I don’t care how good a coyote is. Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
Welcome! Perfect foundation for a swap. When I eventually build something to go really quick, I'm going to do an LS swapped Fox or SN-95. If you want to stick with a manual, I have the perfect transmission for sale. Stage 4 T-56 that can handle 700 to the wheels. I'm only selling because I'm eventually going to make over 1000 and I don't want to break it: https://ls1tech.com/forums/market/1978825
