Default Hello from NC.

Hi everyone, my name is Ed. I’m an aircraft tech. Have never really worked on LS engines, so it’s a new platform to learn. I have an 07 Sierra 2500 6.0 with 170k miles on it. It’s been neglected in terms of being refreshed. Never had the time, always away from home, but I’m home now for good and the truck needs some attention. I came home this last time and the mice have eaten wires to some sensors, so I figured it was time to start a refresh. So far I’ve only torn it down to the valley cover plate to refresh all gaskets, o-rings, replace sensors, and replaced the bad designed valve cover. It was blowing oil pretty bad. Other than that I’m here to learn and see where I’m going to go next on it, after I see how many of the 11 fault codes have been fixed. Cheers 🍻
