403 Cracked , LS地 it NoW Lets GO!! 79 T/A Hello,
Looking to participate in this forum. Need lots of info to revive my 79 T/A , also have much to share.
Original 403 block cracked , heading to LS Now.. Game On!!! 2013 6.0L Aluminum block GEN IV, LZ1, 243 Heads, 4L80e trans.

Sounds like fun! Sorry to hear about the 403. I had one in my first '79 Trans Am. It's a really good, low end torque engine, but has weak main webs. It could still smoke the tires with 2.41 rear gears when it was nearly 20 years old. You should anticipate needing lighter springs up front due to the weight difference between the two engines. What's the color combo of your T/A?
