New but Old Hello everyone ive been lurking around here and love this Ls1TECH site.
I dont have a car yet but theres one in my plans just trying to sort everthing out.Looking at a 93 to 95 firebird with the lt1 in it and thinking of doing the engine swap to a ls1 or even the ls2.Just not all sure what im getting into with that year of firebird.Any ideals? or suggestions. Or would it be better to get a newer model with the ls1 all ready in it .Buget wise im leaning towards the older firebird with a fresh ls1 and tranny and rear end .This is a big change for me from the days of the old Holley carbs and such .What can i say when the bug bites it bites

I've been told that it's a real project to install a LS1 motor in a '93-'97 Fbody car. There are som great deals out there on '98-99 F cars. These cars are not bringing good money at all....'98-'02 F's----the bottom has dropped right out from underneath these cars. It's a buyers market for sure... WJ
