I finally registered I've only been registered one day but I wanted to thank all the people that have posted info that I've used to accumulate parts over the past year and a half. I'm currently building an 86 Monte Carlo (non-SS, sorry John-B). It will be powered by an LS1/M6 combo out of a 99 Camaro that had only 800 miles on it when totalled. Suspension is Global West all the way around, Caprice brakes on the front, a Ranger 8.8 with 31-spline axles, Explorer 11-inch disks, and 4.10 gears and big stickies on all four corners. Other goodies include a 'glass hood, an SS wing, white face guages, and miles of NOS chrome. And I chose RESURRECTION because people told me the car was a lost cause after a girl driving in the wee hours with no lights tried to wipe the nose completely off my baby. Rust free, low mileage, grandma driven Montes don't grow on trees in western PA, ya know. I can't wait to know you all better.

Nine Ball, I took a picture next to your car at the Bristol Bash and I know its your car. I did not own the car I have now. Your car is one of my favorite SS's. Your car has been framed with me standing beside it. All my friends have seen it. Feel famous yet. LOL. See ya round.
