Newbie Check-in Been lurking here for a couple of months now. Have an '04 GTO. Barbados Blue/6Speed. No mods yet. Just learning to love "this" version of the SB Chevy. Evolution of the species is a wonderful thing.

Thanks for the interest. I'm not that much of a teckie, but I'll see if at home can help me post some pics. The GTO is a stock 6 speed. I know that rarity is something that is important. There were 572 '04 Goats that color and 271 had the manual tranny. Barbados Blue is a GTO only color and that will not be an available color for the '05 models.
The 95 Imp is my stock daily driver. It is DGGM (Dark Gray Green Metallic) with 141K miles. I am the second owner. I found it as a trade in at the local VW-Subaru dealership with 49k on it in '97.
The 65 I have owned since '87. I have been completly thru it. It is a small block/automatic/facotry A/C car. It appears stock (only internal mods). A/C is converted to R-134 refigerent. It has the original block and heads 300hp/ 327 ci motor. It was bored out and added bronze valve guides and seats for unleaded fuel. The compression was bumped back to 9.5/1. Pertronix ignition is hidden under the old style distributor. I dumped the PG tranny and put in a 700r4 but kept the factory floor shifter. I added aftermarket cruise control. It now can get 20 mpg on the road.
Both of the Imps have done the Long Haul on the Hot Rod Power Tour. The Goat gets a chance this year.
