I came to texas to go to school at ut tyler. After living in wisconsin for 20 years I can definately enjoy not having to store the camaro. Complaints about rain are funny to me because Im like the rest of the northerners -just being happy that theres nothin to shovel.

Snow can be fun, and you don't have to worry about breaking any parts from running E/T Streets

Yea, you only have to worry about the parts that get bent and broken from sliding into trees, light poles, firehydrants, curbs, ect.
I've only hit the curbs and firehydrant, but that was with a suburban
Lucky bastards in Texas not only get good weather, but lots of good lookin' women too.

Snow? Isn't that the stuff you see when the TV goes out? Yes the racing goes year round at the tracks basicly.

Texas weather is definitely good all year. I always have the tops off. And in Midland, (Hometown of Pres. Bush) every f-body is more than lightly modded. It is pretty much a racer's heaven. Everywhere you go there are GTs, Z28s, SSs, T/As, C5s, and C6s. Most people here have heads/cam build up. If ur gonna play, play hard.

Just make sure your GD air conditioner works. Windows down in the summer really doesnt help much here. There is an a up and down side to the seasons. You can barely dress nice on some humid nights. I have started sweating badly at backyard parties in a tanktop while drinking cold beer in the nightime. Of course i sweat easily.I will say this is racers heaven. And like 2000blkcamaross said if you dont have heads and cam your really not gonna prove much around here.

Texas is definately the main stomping grounds for the magic ls1. Almost every one has some sort of mod. As for the women....here at college (UTSA) there are so many hot girls that you can pretty much choose on what you like!

No tornadoes in Houston. We get the occasional hurricane, but its been a few years since one hit here.

TEXAS rules!
