We had a ROUGH Beginning But... (PICS) Finally im posting up some pics of the car. I actually bought this car 1 year ago but this is the first chance ive had to post on her. Ive been reading this forum for almost a year now so ive found my way around.
Anyways when i first got her, my neighbor backed into the car while pulling out of her driveway talking on the phone!
Once she finally came out of the shop a couple of weeks later i was caught in a monsoon of a rainstrom and ending up doing a 540 into oncoming traffic and jumped the curb and hit a metal sign (missed a HUGE tree by 2 ft.) Did some nice rear-end damage but shes all better know. Hoping for a much better year this time around. This car was 100% stock when i bought it, so ive added a few things while shes been sitting around. It was garaged for 8 months.
I found an empty bass tube online and filled it w/
a 400w rms 12" kicker CVR. Dont need all of that bass but w/e. I hope to bolt on some performance mods as the summer progresses so i'll try and update this (if anyone cares) and im sure i'll have some questions so...

Nice ride. I think the verts are starting to grow on me. I can't stand people talking on the phone while driving. Your story reminds me of that All State insurance comercial where the girl has two accidents in like five seconds.
How stupid are you to back up into someone elses ride! Good for her there wasn't a kid around, who knows what would have happened.

The bass tube is simply awesome sounding w/ the kicker. Hits the low notes perfectly. With the top up my entire car shakes like crazy. I can feel the bass vibrating my toes!! (AT 1/2 Power!) With the top down at a stand still is still sounds really good. At 50mph w/ the top down it gets drowned out pretty bad. I got it for $40 shipped off of ebay. I get a ton of compliments on it.
Thanks for the welcome, the funny thing is in New York where it was hit, It is illegal to talk on the phone and drive w/o a headset! I have been hit three times by other drivers (not in this car) and three times these people have been on the phone. Drives me nuts

Thanks, IMO the headlight mod and clear corners look awesome on black cars. I dont know why GM put in the ugly plastic grill, looks much better with it gone. Anyways, nice car and congrats on the purchase

my ride was backed up into twice by the same person. first time i buffed it out, second time insurance companies where involved, she said she couldnt see it, but it was about 1 in the afternoon on one of the best days ive ever seen in houston. go figure.
that sux big time, not only were you hit twice but by the same person...damn! you should get a restraining order on her car 
hope things get better!
