Hello I'm new too....obviously.....
I own an '02 Firehawk which is under going surgery....my best friend is installing my new cam!!!!! Nothing really major. I install my own mods but, didn't want to try doing the cam. Lots of work. Lots of time. Best friends do it for free!!!

OK! Cam is done! It feels great even before the programmer. The throttle response way less though below 2,000rpm and the power feels less below 1,500. It pulls a lot though once you get up there. It's not neccessarily bad because before the cam my tires spun like mad in first so it stopped that. My friend said I need to buy wider tires. Not sure if I should or not.

well you just need a good dyno tune right now. Did you just put in a mail order tune with that cam?
for tires, just look for a nice drag radial The nitto 555r is good for street driving. If you want serious hook, the Mickey Thompson is were it is at, but there tread life sucks
