new "kid" on the block

how ya doin guys?
I'm new to thie awesome website, and i drive a Sunset Orange, 2002 Pontiac Firebird, yes I am an F-body lover. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I just moved to CO from Ft.Hood Texas. My car (in sig) was my dad's but he has passed it on to me, because he is in Iraq and he is hopefully going to buy a 2006 Corvette. I have started to drive it and i cant get enough of it. I just put new tires on it. GoodYear Gt-HR. They preform and last longer that the stock tires that came with it. I had a bad problem before with catching nails. both rear tires popped 1 week from eachother from a nail. Yes my post if rambling but i love my car. I was wondering if maybe i should start to mod the engine like supercharging or turbocharging it. I am in the hunt for a new ehaust and intake system also. any good choices? since this site has alot of F-body users, maybe i can get some help...

Lots of people talk about doing a turbo/sc as their first mod, but that's usually a bad idea IMO.

Get used to the car first and start with small mods.
